Post in english after the french version.
En effet, je recherche une chambre sur San Francisco à partir du 27 Mai jusqu’au 9 Juin (ou 15 Juin au pire). Pourquoi ? Parce que je terminerai mon voyage en Californie le 27 Mai et que je dois rester sur San Francisco jusqu’au 15 Juin pour la WWDC 2007. Je risque fort de partager une chambre d’hôtel avec un autre étudiant assistant à la WWDC c’est pour cela que je cherche une chambre jusqu’au 9 Juin.
J’ai bien sûr commencé les recherches actives sur le fameux Craigslist mais c’est plutôt difficile vu la durée limitée de mon séjour. C’est pourquoi je vous demande votre aide. Vous connaissez peut-être quelqu’un sur San Francisco (ou alentours) qui a une chambre disponible ? Vous avez des conseils pour ma recherche ? Vous habitez à San Francisco et vous pouvez en parler autour de vous ? Bien sûr je payerai la chambre, du moment que c’est moins cher qu’un hôtel, cela m’ira !

After my acceptance to the WWDC I’m looking for a room to rent in San Francisco (or around). I need a room from May 27 to June 9 because after that I’ll share a room with another student from the WWDC. I’ve started to look intensively on Craigslist but the temporary category is more for few months than for a two-weeks stay. I’m ready to pay the normal price for a room in SF, no problems for that. I just need it for (only) two weeks.
Maybe you live San Francisco and you can help me? Maybe you have some advice for me? Maybe you know somebody that can help me? Feel free to contact me!

Before my departure I still have few days to be with my family and friends, some moments that I’ll not share with them for a while! Even if I still ask me many questions about my arrival and my new life in Montreal, I’m very proud to go for a year at McGill University.
So, Next Thursday (the 24th) I’ll take my plane from Paris to Montreal, Canada. I think I’ll take the airport shuttle or a taxi to go downtown were I booked a night in a hotel. The following day I’ll have to search an apartment in the McGill ghetto (2 blocks around the university) because I can’t stay at the hotel more than one or 2 days. The rent are quite inexpensive in Montreal compared to Paris or most of the bug cities in France, I think it’ll be quite easy to find an apartment there.
The begining of courses is for me the 5th September but before that I have many things to do : administrative things, tours of the downtown campus and of Montreal and a big FROSH week. Stay tuned on this blog to follow my installation, my new life adventure and my discoveries!
